As we look back on our 2007/08 fiscal year, we wish to thank our membership for its support in our continuing effort to champion a healthy, vibrant urban core.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Downtown Seattle Association, which – like Downtown Seattle – is looking better than ever. At a time of conflicting economic indicators, our building boom, office lease rates, pedestrian counts and our residential population all continue to grow.
Contributing to this success, DSA has led the way with several initiatives in the areas of economic vitality, public safety, urban environment and transportation, with a particular focus on the replacement alternatives for the Alaskan Way Viaduct.
We invite you to read about these and other accomplishments we’ve made this year in the digital version of the DSA 2007/08 Annual Report by clicking on the link below. Be sure to also check out our 50th anniversary spread filled with great photos that will take you back to many memorable Downtown milestones from the past five decades.
