It’s Time Again for the Ultimate Urban Beach Blast!
Giant sand sculptures, live music, kids activities and in-store events featured at 2007 Seattle Sandfest August 25th

SEATTLE, WA – On Saturday, August 25, Westlake Park and Westlake Plaza in Downtown Seattle will be transformed into an “urban beach” for the 2007 Seattle Sandfest benefiting The Moyer Foundation. Escape to our sandy beach party for the best in professional and amateur sand sculpting, live music, family activities, and a whole day of special retail offers and in-store events from Nordstrom, Pacific Place, Westlake Center, American Eagle and other local businesses.

2007 Seattle Sandfest is a Downtown Seattle neighborhood program organized by the Metropolitan Improvement District (MID) Retail Core Marketing Committee. The MID provides safety, hospitality, cleaning, marketing, and research services designed to enhance the Seattle metropolitan environment. The MID, created and managed by the Downtown Seattle Association, is a special initiative financed by a self-imposed assessment on properties. For more information visit www.downtownseattle.com.

The Moyer Foundation was founded by Major League All-Star pitcher, Jamie Moyer and his wife, Karen. The Foundation’s mission is to provide comfort and support to children enduring a time of profound distress.
