Bus
King County Metro operates an extensive bus system in Downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. The bus tunnel runs between the International District and the Convention Center and is one of the easiest and quickest ways to travel through Downtown. You can ride free through much of Downtown and in the bus tunnel from 6am-7pm. To get to other neighborhoods, you can catch many north and southbound buses on 1st and 3rd Avenues, while many east/west routes run on Pike, Pine, Seneca and Spring Streets. Monorail
Travel back and forth between the Seattle Center and Downtown shopping at Westlake Center (5th and Pine) on the Seattle Center Monorail in less than two minutes each way. Call 206-441-6038 for schedule and fare. www.seattlemonorail.com

Ferries
Take a scenic and relaxing ferry ride across Elliott Bay to Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, or Vashon Island. Ferries depart from Pier 54 (Alaskan Way at Marion Street) and can accommodate both cars and walk-on passengers (Vashon is passenger-only). Waterfront Streetcar
These 1927 Australian streetcars transport you along the Seattle Waterfront from the edge of Myrtle Edwards Park through Pioneer Square to the International District with nine stops in all. They run approximately every 20 minutes seven days a week. Call Metro at 206-553-3000 for schedule and fare. transit.metrokc.gov

Sound Transit
Sound Transit offers new transit facilities to the residents of urban King, Pierce and Snohomish Counties. Sound Transit Manages Sounder Commuter Trains and link light rail. Call 206-398-5000 for schedule and fare. www.soundtransit.org

Community Transit
Community Transit has 276 coaches that provide service to most of Snohomish County, the University of Washington, Seattle and the Eastside. The agency operates 19 local and 33 commuter routes. For schedule and fare, call 425-348-2350 www.commtrans.org

Seattle Streetcar
The Seattle Streetcar runs a 1.3 mile track from Westlake Center to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in South Lake Union, with Streetcars running every 15 minutes. For schedule and fare, call 206-553-3000. www.seattlestreetcar.org
